Josie Harrison named as Research Director

What moves you? For our new Research Director Josie Harrison, it was our focus on blended research and passion for uncovering human truths.

Their vision for blending quantitative and qualitative research was a real draw for me, and I hope to enhance our profile for delivering ‘human research’ through offering a comprehensive range of strategic research and insight solutions to our clients.”
We’re delighted to welcome Josie as the latest member of the Solutions Research team. With two decades’ research experience, she is a valuable and welcome addition whose expertise will only strengthen our team’s existing capabilities.
She has a passion uncovering the human stories and predictive threads that exist within hard response data to create actionable insights – something that is a key concept at Solutions Research.
Her diverse experience as a research leader, running quantitative research projects for many years, has seen her work in senior and influential research positions at likes of Kantar, Hall & Partners, System 1 Research, and the BBC, specialising in segmentation, brand and comms evaluation and tracking research.
In a previous role, she worked on quantitative and qualitative research to establish effectiveness for the first NHS Organ Donor Register campaign, to identify the role of creative, message and media channels to encourage sign ups. She has also worked on projects across government, healthcare, charity, FMCG, and retail.
This strategic appointment will see Josie using her vast knowledge to explore further creative ways to bring behavioural economics principles into research projects to give clients ever greater understanding, validation, insights, and clarity.
